What Will it Take?
What will it take? To see the one life you have, your life, lived out in peace and purpose and assurance?
What will it take?
What does it take?
To know, to find, to see, God Almighty present and alive and active in your life?
It takes heartache. It takes pain. It takes loneliness and fear. It takes brokenness, the kind of brokenness that hurts. Until we finally begin to hunger. For more. Of Him. And less. Of the answers. Less of ourselves. When we finally know what it means to hunger for Him. For only Him. In our lives. Then, He comes, full of grace and power, and shows us Himself, for all He's worth. And we know we know that He is enough. Always.
And in the knowing, there is peace, and there is joy. Because it's the kind of knowing that gives purpose and assurance. And it is so far removed from anything you could ever strive for or achieve, that you can't help but to rest, and to know, and to overflow. Because it is all God.
