Change That Starts With You.

It starts with you. It just has to. That change has to start with you. First and foremost, with you.

Because, if every circumstance, every trial, every encounter, every relationship is used by God to mold you and to shape you, for Him. If every awakening, every revelation, every realization is given by God to call you and to direct you, to Him. If every fear, every wall, every barrier is purposed by God to break you and to show you, Him. If it is all used by and given by and purposed by God, to give you life, to give you Him, then that change, it has to start with you.

Because if you want God, then everything, everything, has to show you God. If you need God, then everything, everything, has to bring you to God. And if you know God, then everything, everything, has to be on purpose for the glory of God.

It has to be.

If not God, then what is this life for?

If not God.

Because the truth is, it all really starts with God. Every change does. Every thing does. Because God first loved. He first loved you, now He has given you the choice, He has. To see change, or not. It’s change that starts with you and in you. To love Him, or not. To follow Him, or not. To choose God, or not?

And the moment you stop, to see, to acknowledge, to choose God, is the moment you will see change. Every time. Change will happen.  The change of a new heart and a redeemed soul.  The change of a life lived by faith and all that it brings: dependency instead of independency, resting instead of striving, abiding instead of running, being instead of doing. The change, it happens. In you, it happens.

And it’s the kind of change that is beautiful because it is what only God can do, what only God could bring about.

For it is the change of a new heart, a heart for God and not against. And it is a change that starts with you.
