Now You, Remain.

The storm, it is real, and you know it. And you just react to it, every time. Every time the storm comes, you just react. That heartache, that pain, that hurt from deep inside, that storm, it causes you to react the same way, every time. With rage, with resentment and guilt. With depression, with fear and anxiety.

Yes, that storm, you know it far too well.

And your reaction, it is far too familiar. It is.

Because when the storm rages, you feel stuck. You feel there is nothing else possible to do. But to react. And humanly speaking, you are right. According to this world, you are right. And there's a label for it, there's a title for it, there's a cause and effect for it. There's a reason and a someone-to-blame for it. All to keep you a victim, stuck in your storm of life. Just stuck. Forever stuck.

But, we forget God.

And truthfully speaking, the Lord, He is right. According to God, there's a way out of it, there's a salvation for it, there's a victory and a battle-to-be-won over it. There's a purpose and a Someone-to-praise for it. All to make you His, free to receive life! Glorious life. Forever life.

Because Jesus, He is real. Right here and right now. In you and for you and always with you. Longing to give you His life.

He is your gift. His life is the gift given to all who would receive. Him. Jesus.

His death on the cross covered your every sin, making you pure and holy and blameless before Him.

His rising to life again gave you eternal life, making you a new creation, rising you from the dead.

Jesus did it! Praise your risen Saviour! He did it! He has rescued your soul! He has won the battle!

Now you, remain there. Remain in the Truth that will set you free. Remain in the worship of your risen Saviour. Remain in Him Who gives you life. Remain.

And every reaction loses its grip when all you see is Jesus, the very One Who has rescued your soul! The very One Who calms every storm within you, always, when all you see is Jesus.

Now you, remain in Him.
