But God Is

But God is good. And just and right. And so good. He is.

So why do you doubt? His faithfulness? To you. His care? For you. His acceptance? Of you. That He is pleased? With you. Why do you doubt?

When He sent His one and only Son to die for you. To take the penalty you deserved. All so that He could have you as His own. To make you right with Him again. As He intended it. Eternal life with and in and through Him. Always and forever.

Where the God of love cares for you. And the God of peace surrounds you. Because the God of justice defends you. So that the God of grace can provide for you. For the God of mercy sees only Christ in you. And calls you redeemed, holy, a child of His.

You, who believe on the LORD. You, who call Jesus, Lord. You, who hunger and thirst for righteousness. All the days of your life. You, who know the cost of following Christ. Who run to Christ. Again and again. You.

Know, God is good. And right and just.

And do not doubt. Him. Because He is all He says He is. He is. So when the doubt comes, simply run back to Him, where He can show you again, Himself. So you can dwell once again in the shelter of His wings.

It’s where you will know Him, more and more.
