He Did Come

There is just no way to get rid of the dirt and the grime. There is no way to clean up and stay clean, to get to a place of finally reaching purity, that place of success from all of them failures, to get there and to stay there, to finally have made it. To that place of no more despair for cleanliness, of no more lacking for life, no more longing for things to last. To get to that place of no more death and decay and turmoil and labouring. In life.

There is just no way. There is just no way to the no more. No way to remove the lacking, to defeat the decay, to fix the waste, there is just no way to get around the death you see.

On your own.

In this world.

In the seen.

There is just no way.

Because the dirt and the mess and the struggle of this world. Will remain.

And you know it.

But, Christ Jesus came. To conquer death (1 Corinthians 15:54). He did. To end hunger (Revelation 7:16). He did. To make clean (1 John 1:9). He did. All for you. He did. So your every longing would be satisfied (Psalm 107:9). He did. Come.

Do you know it? The unseen Reality of Christ? In your life. Do you know the Victorious One over death? To give you life. Do you know the Provider of all things? For your life. Do you know the Prince of Peace? Over your life.

That it is all possible, for you. Do you believe it? Do you believe it is really real, and really for you?

Because it is.

So you, come to that place where the seen realm has no hold on you. Come to the place where Christ reigns victorious in you. Come to the place where humility and weakness and surrender are welcomed by you. To that place of seeking Him first.

Yes, come to Christ. Open your eyes, soften your heart, stop your striving, still your soul. To see, to know, to receive, to hear. The Saviour of your soul Who longs to come to rescue you from death. Here and now.

And give you life. His life to you!

Because He did come. For you!

"We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh."

- 2 Corinthians 4:8-11
