All You See

When beauty is all you see because Christ is all you know. In everything. Because His grace covers you as a cloak. A cloak of pure righteousness. Of holy faithfulness. Of forever lovingkindness. His grace.

And in the heartache. Beauty. In the turmoil. Beauty. In the never-ending struggles and constant reminders of failures. Still, beauty. Still, all you see is beauty.

Because God gives you grace abundantly.

And all you see is Christ.

You see Him in the hardships. Always in the hardships. You see Him, oh, so clearly in the things that cause softening, in you. Always and only in the softening do you see Him. Only there, where grace abounds. Where eternity matters. Where love covers all. You see Him. Beauty. Christ Jesus. The Only One Who is beautiful.

Christ, Who came to conquer death and give life. Christ, Who came to lift burdens and give peace. Christ, Who came to save and restore to beauty. The beauty of eternity, here and now. Christ's life, here, in you.

And when everything inside of you seeks and desires and longs for Christ, because everything inside of you softens to His will, to His way, to Him. Then you see it. Grace abounding into beauty. In you. All around you.

Because Christ is all you see.

And your heart's cry becomes, "Oh LORD, You are beautiful!"

"One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple." - Psalm 27:4
