How Christ Saves

Come on, church. We need to hear it. Again and again. We do. We need to hear it.

How Christ saves. Always and every time. Now and forevermore. In the little things and the big. Christ saves. He really does.

And we need to hear it.

How in the everyday mundane, Christ rejuvenates. How in the overwhelming too-much, Christ gives rest. How in the times of fear, Christ reassures. Yes, Christ saves.

Oh, how we need to hear it.

So come on, church. You who call yourself a follower of Christ. You who bear His name. You who attend and serve and offer with God's people week after week. You who are the Temple of God, in whom dwells the living God.

Come on.

Church of Christ, let us hear it!

Where every complaint of the way things are is turned into praise for the Sovereign One. Where every wild emotion that surfaces is turned into a simple reminder of your very real need for the Strong One. And every fear and doubt is turned into peace, knowing the Faithful One. Because Christ Jesus saves!

Worship is how. Eyes that see only Christ is how. A life fully surrendered to Christ is how.

It's where prayer never ceases,

Joy never dies,

Peace covers all, and

Grace identifies you.

For loves rules you, because Christ rules you.

So come on, church! Let's hear it!

Christ is in you, the hope of glory is your’s! And Christ saves!!
