Just So
What if God did it just so, just for you? What if every event, every let-down, every unexpected outcome were on purpose, for you? Just for you. And what if every on-purpose circumstance were done just so, just for you to have more of Him?
Just so you could step forward into more of what He has for you to do, to be, to receive. All that’s good and life-giving - all that’s Him!
What if?
He brought the cold rain, the destructive water, the torrential waves, just so life could be abundantly yours. He allowed the unsatisfying blessings, the too much of life, the crazy chaos, just so surrender could be peacefully yours. He allowed the terrible pain, the continuing memory, the debilitating despair, just so He could be intimately yours.
Because sin stood in the way of you and Him, so He does what it takes to get you back. So you can have Him again. So you can have life and peace again.
So what if?
Everything all around were happening for your good? For you to have more of God. What if He did this just for you?
Because He loves you that much. What if?
Would you see differently, His love for you? Would you see differently, His call to you?
Because, it’s true. He did do this just for you. He sent His only Son to die on the Cross, just for you. To make a way. He conquered death when He rose to life again, just for you. To give you life. He orchestrates, He ordains, He allows every circumstance to be used by Him for your good, just for you. To have you back. To set you free.
Yes! He did do this just for you. It’s what He does.
