Worship, In Everything
When everything you’ve been through and everywhere you’ve come from. When every memory you remember and every blessing you receive. Causes you to bow down in worship, as an offering of praise, a sacrifice of praise. To Him, the Giver of all things good. The Provider of all things needed. The Designer of all things perfect. You know surrender is happening.
Yes, when everything causes you to worship, surrender has happened.
And how can it not? How can not everything lead you to worship?
When He has created everything, and He sustains it all. When He gives life, takes life, and gives again. When He redeems and makes whole because He forever longs for you to know, Him. When He is eternal life, forever enough, the Bread of Life. When He calls and names and purposes, and gives meaning to all He has created. When He forgives and gives grace, exactly what you don’t deserve, and always what He loves to give. When He loves unconditionally.
How can you not bow down in worship? In everything. Even in your stumbling and your failing. Perhaps most then. Yes, for it’s in your falling and forgetting and turning from and disregard, of Him, that most does it, that most leads to worship. When then, when after, you choose surrender. In everything.
Ah yes, your leaving Him, then returning to Him; your wandering from Him, then seeking for Him; your denying of Him, then acknowledging only Him. They all result in one thing. They do. Your worship of Him. In everything.
Because, that’s when you know His grace, in your returning. That’s when you know His provision, in your seeking. And that’s when you will know His peace, in your acknowledgment. Of Him. Because His grace and mercy and love do it. His very presence does it. They cause you to worship the One Who is worthy forever and ever. Amen.
It’s a good place to be. It’s the only place to be found, for true, abundant life to be: worshipping Him in everything!
