That Life, His Life

It’s the working of the LORD in your life. Every hard thing that brings you to your knees, every painful thing that causes you to cry out to Him. As the LORD fights them battles for you, He is calling for you, to come to Him, to join Him in the victory, to walk with Him. Because only a life lived by faith will experience all of what Christ is.

In the hard things.

For that working of the LORD in your life, the very hard and painful thing that you wish didn’t have to be, it is what is drawing you closer and calling you deeper into Christ, into all that you were made for, into all of what Christ is for you!

So you can experience the life and joy and peace that Christ is.

For you were made for Him. His life was given for you so that His life could be lived in you. So that you could know and experience Him.

Because.

The very life that was crucified. The very life that rose again. The very life that is one with the Father. That life, His life, the Life, is your life, you who have said yes to Jesus for salvation. The Life of Christ was given to you. So you can walk free. So you can know and experience Christ.

Christ, Who is love and joy and peace. Christ, Who is sovereign and faithful and all-powerful. Christ, Who is your Shield and Protector and Provider. Christ, Who is for you.

He is the One you can know and experience, all by faith. Christ Jesus. Right here and right now, in your life, His Life is your life. Where you are, as you are.

In the hard things.

The hard things that cause you to draw closer and come deeper into Christ, all by faith.

“Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. My soul is cast down within me; therefore I remember you... Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me. By day the LORD commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.” - Psalm 42:5-8 ESV

“Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me—now let me rejoice.” - Psalm 51:8 NLT
