When It Is So Hard

You know what it is that you need to say yes to Jesus for. But it is so hard. You know what it is that you need to surrender and let go of, all to Jesus, so as to say yes to Him in everything. You know what it is. But it is so hard.

It’s so hard to let go. It’s so hard to surrender. When you feel so weak and everything feels so big and insurmountable. It is so hard.

But you want to say yes to Him, you want to know and experience Jesus. You know you do. It just feels so hard.

And it is so hard.

That’s why Jesus conquered the grave for you. He knew it would be so hard, impossible in fact. Every battle you face in saying yes to Jesus. Every hard thing that hinders you from saying yes, from stepping out, from trusting Him. Yes, that hard thing that you know you must surrender and let go of so you can say yes to Jesus, it is impossible for you to conquer. But, good news, it is already taken care of.

On the Cross by the One Who loves you so deeply that He died for you. His love was enough. His desire for you was enough. It was and is and always will be enough to make a way for you to say yes to Him.

That’s what love does. It makes a way.

So you can call on the LORD and allow Him to finish what is so hard. That’s why He came. To do for you what you couldn’t. To redeem what was lost. To bring light into the darkness. Because He loves you that much!
