God is Known to You!
It’s within that storm, not without it. It’s through the fire, not around it. That God becomes known to you.
That’s right. The raging sea you’re going through. The deep, deep darkness. The hard, cold reality. The tossing, turning circumstance. The big, overwhelming obstacle. The wild, crazy emotion. The steep, fearful unknown.
They are how God becomes known to you.
Because they are what draw, what call, what bend, and what soften you into surrender, if you let them. So you can look up and see Christ, the Way to the Father.
For in looking up, you will see how God works every thing of evil for good. You will see how He gently comforts and calls i every painful reality. And every uncertain situation, He lovingly shows His sovereignty, all in your looking up. God helps you to trust and live by faith over every mountain before you. He calms and reassures every unstable emotion. For He knows and He asks you to simply trust Him in every single unknown.
So you can know Him intimately.
And when you know God. When you know Who He is, His character, His presence, His omnipotence and authority, and when you see His great love for you. Then you need not fear. You need not worry. You need not fret. God is near. God is faithful. God is with you. And God is known to you!

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” - Isaiah 43:2 ESV
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” - Philippians 4:6-8 NLT
