House of Hope is a residence that provides a peaceful and safe environment for women requiring deep healing from emotional wounds caused by exploitation, trafficking, abuse, or mental health issues.

In June 2016 we opened the doors to the House of Hope. Our residents live in a peaceful home, with their own private bedroom and are under the care of a full time house mom. We would not describe our home as a women's shelter, nor as a safe house. We are a home specifically for women wanting to work through their emotional healing, in a loving and Christ - centered environment.

We believe all people need to attend to the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of their being in order to live whole, healthy lives. These three aspects are interconnected and affect one another. In our home we address each of these areas individually and as a whole.

Within our team, the main caregivers are three qualified women who offer encouragement, counselling services, and life skills training. We see ourselves as "cheerleaders', working together with each participant to provide a manageable and flexible program.

We work closely with community medical supports and have a  board approved female physician, dentist and registered psychiatrist available for anyone attending our program. We are willing and able to provide short or long- term care.
