Solid Ground.

Solid ground. Always with God, is solid ground. When the earth trembles and the mountains shake, God remains. Because He is, Solid Ground.

But still, we seek proof for our immediate disbelief, a solution for our current problem, the right answer for right now. In fact, we demand it, as though we deserve to know.

"Well then, if you are the Son of God, save yourself and come down from the cross!" - Matthew 27:40

And God holds back the answer. He delays the solution and hides the immediate proof. Because He knows better. Yes, He knows He does not need proving or convincing or explaining. Truth simply is, Christ simply is.

"He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth." - Isaiah 53:7

So, when you see the Truth for what it is. When you see Christ for Who He is. That never does Christ, the Truth, have to justify. That never does He have to prove right, to fight for, or to persuade, Who He is. To you. And you see.

Then you will seek. For more. And if you seek for the Truth, the Truth Who needs not defend Himself, but lays down His life to defend you; Who needs not prove or justify Himself, but gives His life to declare you innocent in Him; Who needs not convince or explain Himself to others, but lives His life in you, to show others. If you seek Him, He will be found by you.

Because, if you seek Jesus Christ, the only Truth, then you will see the Truth for Who He is. And He will be enough. The answers, the solutions, they will no longer matter. The problems, the trials, they will be revealed for what they are - means to know Jesus better.

Because you will find Him. And He is all that matters. To you. He is more than enough. He is the only Solid Ground, your Solid Ground.
