He Has Done it All!

In all your striving, in all your trying and working hard to do the right thing, the good thing, you ask yourself, will it ever end? Will I ever reach the point of rest and peace I long for? Will I ever reach my desired destination? Will I ever truly be satisfied? You ask yourself. You do. You have to, because it's what every soul longs for. To find rest.

And Christ calls to you from the Cross, where He hung and where He died, for you, to conquer death, in you. He calls out, "It is finished!" - John 19:30

And Christ calls to you His promise, for you. He calls, "Come to Me, all of you who are weary... and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28

He promises. He says. He gives. He is. Rest.

Come to Him. He longs for you.

Abide in Him. Your soul longs for Him.

Rest in Him. He has done it all. It is finished.

You are made right with Him by Christ's death on the Cross. And you are acceptable to Him. Apart from your works. Apart from your deeds. Apart from your strivings and your mistakes and your rights and your wrongs. Apart from anything you could ever offer, to God. Apart from it all. You are holy and righteous and redeemed and forgiven and sanctified.

Because of Christ and Christ alone.
