Everything You Strive For.

What if I told you? Everything you strive for could be yours. Would you believe me?

It's true, what you strive for is unattainable, yet it feels like it is only around the corner. If this would work out and that would fall into place. If this would change or that would go away. Then what you strive for could be attainable. Only then. But, no. It's true, what you strive for is really unattainable, in your own striving.

For everything you strive for is really only because you long for just one thing - Life.

Really. It is.

Because life is joy and happiness and contentment. Only One satisfies.

Because life is peace and rest and assurance. Only One satisfies.

So what if I told you?

Would you believe?

Jesus Christ came to earth, died for you, rose again, conquered death, all to give you Life, everything you really strive for. His Life. Eternal Life. Abundant Life. Jesus Christ's Life. Not your life. Jesus' Life. It's the Good News! Your old, worn out, unattainable life is gone! His Life has come!

"Or have you forgotten that when we became Christians and were baptized to become one with Christ Jesus, we died with Him? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." - Romans 6:3-4

So what if I told you? Everything you strive for is yours in Christ Jesus. Would you stop striving to follow? Him? Would you trust? Him? Would you call on the name of the LORD today, and be saved?
