When You See Jesus.

That day when you see the LORD.  When you see Jesus, in the here and now.  In the middle of your storm.  In the wake of your storm.  In the aftermath of your storm.  Here and now.  When you see Jesus, then He becomes all that matters.  It's true.

Because when the storm rages, and it just doesn't make sense.  When you try to see, and it just doesn't work.  For you cannot see Christ.  You cannot see your Saviour.

That’s when you cry out, "LORD, I want to see!"

And that will be the day, the day when you see the LORD.  The day when you see your Saviour.  On your knees, out of despair in yourself, in your efforts, in your works and your deeds and your words.  Out of despair in your not seeing.  Because not seeing is not seeing the LORD.

So you cry out, "LORD, I want to see!"

In everything.  In every circumstance.  In every encounter, every hurt, every joy, every happening.  You want to see.  You want to see Him.  Because He reigns.  Yes, He is sovereign.  And He loves.  Yes, He loves you.  And what else matters?

Nothing.

Unless, you cannot see.  Because when you cannot see Jesus, then the trials of this world matter.  It's true, when you cannot see Jesus, the details of this life matter.  They matter more than Jesus.  And the life you live here and now overwhelms you with its cares and concerns.  It will, because when all these things matter, more than Jesus, in your one life, then life promises to overwhelm and burden and stress, you.  Until, nothing else matters, but Jesus!

And then you see!
