Life in the Stopping.
It's only in the stopping. Every time. It really is. Life really is found only in the stopping.
Because, in the stopping, at what you're pushing ahead to do, at what you're desperately trying to succeed at, to over-come or to conquer. In the stopping at that sense of 'I must do', to have control, to feel worthy, to get it done. Stopping at all that is pressing in at you for your immediate attention, yes, deciding to stop, in the right now. That, is to find life. Every time.
Because only in the stopping can you take the time to look up.
And find life. Find Him Who is the Bread of Life. When you stop, your soul can be still. When you stop, your mind can rest. When you stop, you can take and eat and drink, the Bread of Life, the Living Water. Before you take any step forward, you take and eat. Before you take any step forward, you stop and look up. And you find life. Every time.
And something happens, inside. Something you can't explain, because your every step becomes a stopping, a being still, before God. And you can't explain the joy. You can't explain the peace. When your every step becomes a walking in the Spirit. A walking in the Spirit of God, a life of faith, which is life abundant! Life, only in the stopping!
