So Much More.

When you are stretched to the point of too much and you find yourself on your knees.  And you feel God asking for more of you.  Still, for more of you, to go deeper with Him.  And it feels like too much.  For you.

Too much to go forward.

As though it were up to you to take that step forward, up to you to carry that load of moving forward.  As though it were up to you to survive and conquer and be successful.  Up to you.  And the weight comes even heavier.  The burden comes even stronger, when it is up to you.

But then, you find yourself on your knees.  And there, you know Christ is all.  You know He goes before and behind you.  You know He gives you His life, and in Him, you can do all things.  All things He has for you.  And you know.  You know.  It is not up to you.

Then Christ declares, "...whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father." - John 14:12

Because it happens.  The moment you feel it is all too much, God shows you so much more.  And when you choose to look up, the moment you choose to bow before God Almighty, it is Christ Who does the even greater works, in you and through you.  For the moment you choose to surrender to Christ as Lord, God chooses revelation, and He shows you the so much more that He has planned for you and purposed to happen through you.  Every time.

Where, on your knees, you are soft and you are weak.  But you are His.  In that moment of surrender, you are fully His.  And that is all it takes for God Almighty to step in, to move your mountains of Too Much and Not Enough.  To do through you so much more.

So are you willing?  To let God lead you forward?  Into the unknown?  Into the too much of life?  Are you willing, to step forward in faith?  When you are at your Too Much, are you willing to let God show you the so much more that He has intended for you?

Because the so much more is always Christ.

And when the So Much More of Christ becomes to you your very life and breath and strength and joy, then you see how God's So Much More only ever always leads you to abundance and overflowing and everything that is eternal Life - Christ Himself!

"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:20-21
