Because of the Cross

Do you know why the Cross is such good news? Do you know why? It's because Jesus Christ did it for you! So you don't have to. Jesus did it for you. He died for you there on that Cross. He took the penalty for you. So you don't have to pay the penalty you deserve. So you don’t have to die.

Because your sin was too much for you. Because your sin is too much for you. It just was and is and always will be too much. And He knows it. So He died for you. So the too-much of your sin would be no more for you. Ever again.

Ever again.

Because of the Cross, you are forever free from condemnation, forever free from guilt and shame, forever free from sin. Forever. Because of the Cross, your entrance into salvation and life is made forever possible. Forever.

Because of the Cross of Christ.

The Cross, which bore the Son of God, Who bore the sin and the shame of the entire world. The Cross, which crucified the sinless, spotless Lamb of God, Who crucified death once for all. The Cross, which fulfilled all prophecies and all promises of God, that stands forever as forever enough. Enough to save. Enough to fulfill. Enough to be. Enough.

For the Cross is your entrance into Christ's Life. And Christ's Life is always enough!

So you tell me why the Cross is such good news! Because it should be shouted from the mountaintops! It should be proclaimed by children and adults alike! It should be satisfying and fulfilling and overflowing from every believer. Every child of God who knows who they are because of the Cross of Christ!!

As you are, where you are, because you are, loved. It's available to you, right now. Eternal Life! Abundant Life! Christ's Life! All because of the Cross!!
