How to Change Your Own Heart.
It's true, every time. Intercession, your praying for another, the priestly work of the saints, it is how to change your own heart. Every time.
Because intercession begins with worship. And relationship. With the God of the Universe. And that is where the heart-change occurs, your heart-change. With your worship, of Him. Only then can intercession begin.
And when worship starts, when worship fills you, then your heart's cry is for another. It is.
Because your heart's cry for another, it really is His cry, for His children. And the moment you bring another before God in prayer. The moment you cast them apon the LORD, all their cares and fears, their heartache and tears. When you pour out for them, to their Maker. That is when you are united with God. Every time. Every time.
It's a guarantee. Because praying for another has no strings attached. And praying for another has no room for pride. Yes, praying for another is the only kind of work you will ever do that you can be sure of, because it is always covered in grace. It is always of God. It is always, always, the work of Christ, in you.
And your heart's cry for another, is really Christ's cry. And your love for another is really Christ's love. The unconditional kind, that never fails.
Because you find, your time with the LORD, your time in prayer, it becomes given for, and all about, and simply for, the benefit of others. For the benefit of the body of Christ. And your time with the LORD, it becomes about Christ.
Because Christ's Life is about the redemption, the saving, of people.
And there is unity. There is abiding peace.
