The Great Unknown.

It's the unknown that does it.  That causes fear to rise, to take hold, of you.  That paralyzes, and holds you back.  That causes you to act out, the way you do when you fear.  That holds you captive, stuck, enslaved, bound, to doubt and worry and anxiety.  The unknown does it.

The unknown in your life, does it.

And that unknown in your life, it is the same unknown as in every life.  Really, it is.  Regardless of the circumstance, still the same unknown.

Because we all want and need the same thing - to know who we are.  And that need, that deep-down want, is really the great unknown we all long to know.  To know who we are.  To know you are valued and accepted.  To know you have worth, to know your one life is meaningful. 

One unknown, the only unknown that causes fear to rise.  In every life.

One unknown, the only unknown that is really meant to be known, by you.  

Because God loves you so much, He sent His one and only Son to earth, to take your punishment, to show you your worth, to let you know.  So you can know.  Your immeasurable worth and value, to Him.  So the only unknown that is meant to be known, can be known.  By you.  

Jesus wants to show you your worth, your great value, to Him.  He wants you to know.

Because knowing sets you free.  Free to come to Him, as you are.  And in coming to Him, you find there is grace and mercy to help in your time of need, for there you find Jesus.

Yes, it's the knowing that does it.  That causes peace and joy to take hold of you, instead of that fear.  That sets you free, and moves you forward.  That allows you to rest, and makes you alive to God and God alone.  Knowing does it.  Knowing your value before God does it.  Knowing Jesus has made the way for you does it.  Knowing He is the Way and the Truth and the Life does it.

And that moment Truth rises within you.  Truth that sets free all who would believe.  Truth that clears all doubt and worry and anxiety, declaring from upon the Cross, your great value to Him.  Yes, the moment Truth rises within you is the moment Jesus rises within you, and all fear is gone.

Because the great unknown becomes known, to you.  

When your great value becomes known, to you.  For you allowed Jesus in, and let Him show you just how much He does love, you.
