Where Every Hindrance Fails.

Because you hinder the very work of God, without even knowing it. When your intentions are good, and your purposes are right. You hinder His work, though you can't see it, though you can't see the hindrance. Still, it is there.

For it's true,

Whenever you decide on your own how things should go, whenever you decide on your own what it should look like, or when it should happen, you hinder. You do. You hinder God's work, in you. Then.

God's work, to reveal Himself to you, to speak His truth to you, to show His glory and His majesty, His grace and His mercy, all through you. God's work in you, to grow you as His child. It is hindered, when you step out on your own, in your good intentions and right purposes.

For it’s true, it happens when things are not going the way you thought they would or should.  When life turns out differently than you had planned. When you see a need or a hurt or a problem, and you think it must not be. You step in, to take over, to work it out. Because that's what you do, that's what you feel you must do. So you step out on your own. Then.

But, to know.

To know God is doing greater things than you could ever imagine, in you, in that circumstance, in that person, if you let Him. If you let Him do His work, if you let Him mold and shape you, as He does best. Then, you will not hinder Him. No. Instead, you will raise Him high as your Lord and King, and you will know God reigns.

For every heartache He longs to show you He is enough, to mold and to shape you beautifully in His image.
For every moment of chaos He longs to show you He is sovereign, to work all things for your good, for your good.
For every hurt and every pain, every fear and every chain, He longs to show you He is your Redeemer, the very One Who has already won the battle, for you, Who is already victorious, in you, Who is already going before you and behind you, always caring for you.

Yes, to know. To simply know. God's got this.

And every hindrance fails.
For God reigns, in you!
