To Let Go.
When your soul does it, when it takes over, and consumes you. Over this and over that. Over everything that overwhelms you. It happens. Your soul rises to the heights, at the mountain in front of you. And your soul sinks to the depths, in the valley that swallows you. Every time. It happens.
Because your soul, it clings tightly to it's ways. Of control. Of fear. Of anxiety and despair. Of worry. Of fear. Oh, of fear! And it clings ever so tightly, to it's ways.
But, oh soul, you can let go. You can let go. Because, oh soul, do you not know, do you not see? That it is true. That the Sovereign One, that He reigns. That the Faithful One, that He remains. That there is nothing that can separate you from Him. Nothing, oh soul. Nothing!
And when your soul, when it rises to the heights, when it sinks to the depths, when it causes you to despair, then may you decide. Right then and there, to decide.
To put your eyes on Him. The Faithful One.
To put your rest in Him. The Sovereign One.
And to know that that is the only way for your soul to know. To know how to let go.
Because, it is well.
In the light of all that God is, oh soul, you can know.
When He comands even the winds and the waves. And they obey Him.
You can know, oh soul, that it is well. Well enough to let go!
