Stand Firm.
Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. (Ephesians 6:10)
Take up the whole armor of God:
the belt of truth,
the breastplate of righteousness,
the shoes of the gospel,
the shield of faith,
the helmet of salvation, and
the sword of the Spirit (the word of God),
That you may be able to stand firm.
(Ephesians 6:13-17)
For the Truth will set you free. (John 8:32)
Yes, the Truth will. You who are shielded in righteousness, running with the gospel, protected by faith, covered with salvation, armed with of the Word of God, you will be set free. Yes, the whole armor of God, that is Jesus, will set you free.
Yes, the Truth, Jesus (John 14:6).
In righteousness, that is, in Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:30).
Because of the gospel, that is, because of Jesus (Ephesians 1:13).
By faith, that is, by Jesus (Ephesians 2:8).
Through salvation, that is, through Jesus (Psalm 118:14).
And, because of the Word of God. That is, because of Jesus (John 1:1). All because of Jesus!
For,
Jesus is the Truth, Who will set you free.
Jesus is your righteousness.
Jesus is the gospel, written for you.
Jesus is your faith.
Jesus is your salvation.
Jesus is the Word of God, Who sets you free indeed.
All Jesus! Nothing but Jesus. Can enable you to stand firm. And set you free indeed.
Always, only, Jesus!
