Let One Thing Be Known
How about letting just one thing be known, loud and clear? And completely accepting it, as is. No questions asked. How about it? How about proclaiming we are all just imperfect people, weak and wearied by life. Anxious and alienated by fears. Tired and troubled by uncertainties. Unknown and unloved by others. Every one of us.
How about it?
And how about if we were all okay with not being okay? And we were all okay with all the imperfections in words, in deeds, in thoughts, and the lack thereof that comes with being a person, that comes with interacting with imperfect souls. And how about letting it be known that it is okay? Because God is good. Because God is in control and He is about working all things out for their good, for our good. How about it?
Imperfections? Weaknesses? Fears? Anxiety? Troubles? Sorrows? Because this life here is too much! And we are all weak. So we fall and we stumble and we drift away. From life. All of us. So how about it?
How about we stop pointing our finger and instead start lifting our hands to the only One Who can save us? Anyways and always.
And there, with our eyes lifted up, we find only grace and love abound, for us and through us. Because we see only Him in all His glory and we no longer doubt. His faithfulness. His sovereignty. His lovingkindness. We no longer doubt Him Who came to seek and to save the lost - each one of us. The weak, the poor, the hungry, the weary and worn, the lost - every one of us.
So how about we let grace in so that Christ can reign? So that His grace can abound. In us. In others. For us and for others. All because of the only One Who can save, and came to save.
And our announcing it out loud and clear, and accepting it strong and without condemnation, that we are imperfect, lost and in need of the Saviour. Is our receiving and giving grace. For ourselves and for others. And that's when grace abounds, when Christ is enough, when the captives are set free!
Yes! Amen!! You proclaim it! To your one self, to the whole world you encounter. That you are imperfect, weak and tired. That you are anxious, troubled and fearful. And that Christ is enough, for you!! For life abundant!!
For you know the One Who came to seek and to save you, the lost. You know the One Who came to set you free, the One Who came to give you life!
And you know He is enough for every imperfect person!! So you proclaim it, loud and clear!
