No Pretending It

You aren’t pretending it. No way! There is no way to pretend it. No way. Because life, real life, it cannot be charaded. It cannot be paraded. It cannot be built with human hands. No way.

Life, the life God gives through Christ Jesus, the life that sustains and builds up and encourages. Real, abundant life, it simply is.

You can be sure of it! It’s a guarantee. Because every time there is a striving to make work, a worrying to keep control, a carrying to hold responsibility, there is no life. You can be sure of it, those human hands are building again.

And there is no doubt. It’s a guarantee! Every time there is a resting to learn to abide, a stepping back to surrender all pride, a trusting to give up and let go, there is life. You can be sure of it, there is life indeed! It’s a guarantee, life is!

Yes, life! Is! Life simply is!

Through Jesus Christ our Lord, God is allowed in, and His life is in you. Through Christ Jesus your Lord, real life is. Available. Possible. Receivable. For you. In Christ Jesus.

And there’s no way of pretending it. No way! When Christ Jesus is alive and well within you, real life simply is! Because of Jesus!

For He is the only way for life to simply be.
