Looking to See

It’s that look that’ll do it. That believing look. That focusing look. To see Christ. The look that sees, by faith. The look that gazes intently upon Him. It’s what will give you life.

And rest and reprive. Relief and assurance. Peace and calm.

And strength and endurance. Mercy and grace. Joy and satisfaction.

And abundance. Filling to overflowing, abundance. Because to look to Christ is to have Christ. Yes, your looking to see will do it, it will give you Christ.

For when your eyes are on Him alone. When your look is to Him alone. Off of yourself, off of your circumstances, off of your schedules and expectations, your plans and ideals. Off of you. And onto Christ. When your eyes are there, when your gaze is there, you find it is God Who is looking down on you. It is God Who sees you. For you find His gaze is on you, His look is towards you, and His eyes are seeking for you. In love. Always for you.

For it is His gaze that declares, “I sought you first, because I loved you first.” And every part of your whole being is at peace. In the very presence of Him Who is Able. Of Him Who sees. Of Him Who seeks, you.

So your gaze becomes for Christ alone. Knowing His gaze back at you, you desire only Him. Desiring Christ, you receive fully all that He is for you.

Your look will do it. Your looking to see will give you Christ.

For as you look unto Christ, you will be saved. Seek and you will find. Look unto Christ and you will be set free. As you walk by faith, the reality of Christ gives you life in abundance to overflowing. And you will see God, as He sees you, as He works in you, completing in you, sanctifying in you, His good and perfect will.

Where you find God looking right back at you. And life, real life, His life, begins. There.
