Them Complaints

Your complaints, they are against the LORD. Not those people or that injustice. But against the LORD. Every time. Though you don’t see it as such. Though you can’t tell it as much. It’s true. Them complaints you cry out, they are targeted for the very One Who sits upon heaven’s throne.

And you know it. Really, you do.

Why is everything unfair? Because you know there should be justice, and you know there is One Who rules over all things. You do.

So can the One Who rules over all things not decide all things?

To bring about justice in fairness and righteousness.

To bring about His glory in majesty and power.

To bring about His mercy in grace and truth.

Because He loves you. Because He loves the world.

And if you had a say, and got your way, and really knew the things that should not be. If He was wrong and you were right. So as to justify them complaints. Then, Christ’s death on the Cross was for not. Not fair, not right, not love, not enough. And your salvation was never possible. No life, no peace, no joy, no eternity. Ever.

But God decided to send His one and only Son. To die. So that you could live.

And Jesus was silent as a lamb led to the slaughter, before its shearers (Isaiah 53:7). He did not open His mouth. He did not cry out them complaints. No, He did not.

Because He knew the One Who rules over all things knows what He is doing. And it is good. Very good. How justice is always brought about for His glory, to reveal His mercy.

And all them complaints cease. Because the LORD God, He is the One Who rules.
