All A Part

It’s all a part of you being set free. Right now is.

Your doing what is before you to do, right now, in the unknown, in the uncertainty. It is a part of you being set free.

Your working at that thing you hate, right now, in your grudging onward, in your despising of it. It is a part of you being set free.

Your doing what you love, right now, in the realization of your enjoyment of it, in your pure love for it. It is a part of you being set free.

Your stepping into all that is before you to do. Right now. It is all a part of you being set free.

Because. When it used to be so fearful to you. When it used to be so full of such despair. When it used to all be covered with so much guilt. And it all used to be weighed down with such heavy obligation. Every step did. Then you knew your slavery. Oh, you did.

For your stepping forward never used to be pleasureable or enjoyable or life-giving. No. Until Christ, nothing you ever did was enough. It used to be that way.

But now. Now that you know your Saviour. Now that you know of His presence and faithfulness and mercy and love. To you. Now that you know Him.

You see. Every step forward into exactly what is before you is all a part of you being set free. It is all about you being set free. You see it, and you believe it!

Yes. “...Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” (Psalm 139:16)

Everything, everything. Yes!

“For freedom Christ has set [you] free...” (Galatians 5:1)

Yes. God records and ordains and works it all out. For your good. For your freedom. Now, you believe it!

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.“ (Romans 8:28)

And you see. How everything has purpose and meaning. Never up to chance. How everything has direction and focus. Never evolving out of chaos. How everything has care and love, and grace and compassion, behind it and before it, hand-picked and chosen for you. To grow you and to mature you and to surrender you more and more into who He’s beautifully made you to be. As His!

Your life being lived out step by step, doing all that is before you, is all a part of you being set free! Every step is, right now.
