Behold, now!

So there’s this man named Jesus. You’ve heard of Him before. I know you have.

He walked on water (Matthew 14:25).
He healed the sick (Matthew 8:16).
He taught righteousness and lived it (2 Corinthians 5:21, Matthew 3:15).

He was a teacher, a good man, a prophet.

So tell me, what are you going to do with Him, with this man named Jesus? You must decide. It’s true, you must decide what you’re going to do with Jesus. Because you’ve heard of Him before.

He came to earth (Philippians 2:7).
He died on the Cross (Philippians 2:8).
He rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:4).

All for you.

So what are you going to do with Him?

This man named Jesus. The very Son of God (Matthew 14:33).

What are you going to do with Him?

The Creator of the world (John 1:3).
The Redeemer of mankind (Galatians 4:4-5; 1 John 4:14).
And Saviour of your soul (Job 33:28).

He is a Strong Tower (Proverbs 18:10), a Righteous Redeemer (Job 19:25), a Sword and a Shield (Deuteronomy 33:29).

To all who call on His name to be saved.

Because He so loved the world (John 3:16). The whole world. He came. He died. He lived. For all who would call out to Him.

That’s how He loves. He makes a way, even when we cannot love in return. He pours out grace, even when we do not forgive in return. He comes down to save, even when you lose your way, because you lose your way. Because He loves.

So what are you going to do with this Jesus?

“…Behold, now is the favorable time [to decide] behold, now is the day of salvation.”

For Jesus came to save! Behold, now!

****

“Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says, ‘In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.’ Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” - 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 ESV
