Because you are Broken
It’s because you’re not perfect. It’s because you mess up and fall down. It’s because you lack and long for more. Because you make mistakes every single day, and you are broken.
That God’s grace is so worth celebrating!
That God’s mercy is such good news!
That God’s love is so amazing!
To you.
Because when you see your imperfections and you know your failures. When you feel dissatisfied and desire for more. And you hunger and you thirst after righteousness, longing for Him.
Then you will see God. It’s a promise.
The kingdom of heaven is yours.
And you will be comforted.
You will inherit the earth.
You will be satisfied, receive mercy, and be called a child of God.
It’s a promise guaranteed by God Himself. You will see Him when you stand broken before Him.
Because God is perfect. And it’s because God stands tall and strong and remains. It’s because God forever satisfies and fills to overflowing. It’s because God orchestrates all things for good, in justice and in righteousness.
That your surrender is possible.
That your allegiance is everything.
That your abandon is so precious.
To Him.
So stand there, broken. Meek and poor in spirit, mourning, hungry and thirsty. Giving mercy, allowing God to purify your heart, seeking for peace always. And you will see God. Because you are broken.
You will see God.
You will taste of the LORD.
And you will experience freedom.
Because God’s grace is worth celebrating!
Because God’s mercy is such good news!
Because God’s love is so amazing!
To you.
