As You Are
To come as you are, with every little mistake, with every big fault. To simply come as you are. Poor in spirit, weak and depressed, blinded by life's trials, unable to walk forward one more step. Yes, to come as you are. Poor, crippled, blind and lame.
To the Throne of Grace, where you will find rest for your soul. Where you will find grace and receive mercy.
For every little failure and every big stronghold. For every impossible feat and every insurmountable obstacle. That weighs you down. That holds you captive. That robs life from you.
Come.
To taste of the Banquet of Life. To be satisfied by the Bread of Life, quenched with the Living Water, covered in the Truth.
Because that.
Is to never thirst again. Ever.
Is to know the Saviour of your soul. Always.
Is to come as you are, to be held as you are, simply loved, gloriously loved. As you are.
And that.
Is life. True life. Abundant life.
Fully-filled and over-flowing. Life.
In Christ and Christ alone.
