Taken Away With
It’s not something for you to grasp, so as to possess. The Truth is not. No.
It’s not something for you to gain or accomplish, so as to attain knowledge, and value and worth. The Word is not. No.
As though you could somehow earn, somehow achieve, somehow become, something. No. Never! The Truth is not to be earned or owned or achieved, by you. The Word is not to be used for gain. Not ever! It is only for you to be taken away with.
God’s Word, the Living Word, the Bread of Life. The Truth that sets you free. It is someOne. SomeOne given for you, so you can enter into relationship with Him, and be taken away by Him. Where He consumes you, your every thought, your every word, your every deed. Because that’s the kind of relationship the Word of God is meant to build. That’s the kinds of friendship the Truth is meant to instil. By taking you away with Jesus.
Never to be possessed, so as to own, Jesus is to be enjoyed as a Friend, received as your Saviour, and cherished as Life.
Never to be won, so as to parade, Jesus is to be ran to and held on to, so close to your heart, and so deep within your soul.
Never to be fully understood, so as to attain knowledge, Jesus is meant to be intimately known. By you. That’s it.
The Living Word. The Bread of Life. He is the Way and the Truth, and the Life, Who sets you free, when you are fully taken away with Him!
