So You See It
Until suddenly, you see it. How God has stepped in. How He has always been there for you. How He has rescued you. Again and again. You see it, and suddenly you see that nothing has been stolen. No, nothing.
No stolen innocence. No lost opportunity. No missed chance. No forgotten promise.
Nothing stolen. Nothing’s been stolen from you who are in Christ Jesus. No, nothing.
Because God, He is good. And you’ve lived in His goodness. All of creation has. Every breath, every step, every heartbeat. It is all because of the goodness of God.
So you see it.
How everything works for the good, the goodness of God. It’s how nothing gets stolen, or lost or forgotten. It’s how nothing is stolen from you, dear child of God. Because God takes everything, all of life that He is in charge of, and has control over, and reigns as King of. All of life. He takes and He cares for it. For all of it. Because He loves you. Because He cares for you.
For God has stepped in to care for and cherish and love you. Yes, God has rescued you.
So you can see it. How nothing’s been stolen from you who are in Christ Jesus. No, nothing.

“Comfort, comfort my people, says your God... A voice cries: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.’” - Isaiah 40:1,3-5 (ESV)
