To Step Out
When you are scared.
Scared of what will happen the moment you step out. To make right, to serve right, to do and to be right.
When you are scared.
Scared of all you are accountable for, that you will somehow miss out, lose out and not have enough strength to carry out every responsibility.
When you are scared.
Scared you are not enough, not worthy enough or right enough in where you are, who you are, and how you are living this life.
When you are scared. Scared of the unknown and scared of the decisions. Scared to step out and scared you are unable. Yes, when you are scared.
Hear Him calling to you, “Do not be afraid.”
He is calling you, to follow His Voice of mercy and grace. He is calling you, to abide in His Presence of light and truth. He is calling you, to obey His call and command. Right there, in that thing that scares you, He is calling you right there to follow and to abide and to obey Him. Do not be afraid, you can step out into what He has for you.
Because the only cure for being scared is knowing Him and running to Him, to follow Him, the One Who calms the storm with “Be still” (Mark 4:39), the One Who assures the soul with “Do not be afraid” (Matthew 14:27), and the One Who calls His child with “Come” (Matthew 11:28).
He is faithful, rich in mercy, able to save, great in love and kind toward us. Do not be afraid. You can step out.

“Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.” - Hebrews 7:25 ESV
“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” - Ephesians 2:4-7 ESV
