It’s How the Saviour Saves
Nope. You don’t need to be told how you’re doing it wrong. You don’t need to hear why you’re failing. And you sure don’t need to hear again and again why you need a Saviour.
Because you already know it.
I think we all know it.
It’s why we hide behind behaviours and addictions and self-righteousness and pride. It’s why we fear and doubt and worry.
Because we all know our failings. Already. So we know we need saving.
It’s just, we don’t know how to get there.
How do we get there? How do we reach for and meet the Saviour so as to be saved? It’s your heart’s longing. And it’s your one need.
So you need to hear it’s okay. It’s okay to be angry as you’re working through all of that pain. Because it’s a deep healing, one that’s gonna take time and patience and tenderness. It’s how the Saviour works. By never forsaking you.
Yes, you need to hear it’s okay. It’s okay to be weak, and hurt and crumble and fall apart again and again. Because it’s a daily learning, one that’s gonna grow and mature and strengthen you from within. It’s how the Saviour provides and loves. By never leaving your side.
Because when such deep healing must take place, and such weakness defines your life, then it’s the Good News that needs to be proclaimed and shown to the depths of your soul. Yes and amen!
How Jesus came for you! As you. How it’s okay to be as you are, so that you can let God do what only He can do in you. It’s His promise to you! God made the way for you by surrendering every right He had. Because He loves you!
Yes. Let me tell you how Jesus came for you and made the way for you. Upon that cross, taking the very penalty for your sins that you deserved, He died instead, to give you life. Yes! He came for you! He made the way for you!
It’s how to get there. Resting in Christ, letting Him work and provide for, and love you. And hearing it’s okay. Exactly where you are is okay. Now rest, and let the Saviour do what He does best as you abide in Him! And let the Saviour save you!
