Where Abundance is Found
That surrender into all that God has for you. That bending of the knee to acknowledge all that God is to you. That receiving and receiving and receiving again, all from Him because of all He did for you.
That is how abundant life is found. And experienced and known. By you.
That is how freedom is lived. And Christ Jesus is Lord. In you.
It’s true.
Because there’s no doubt about it, there is no life in forging ahead to make work and take control. There is no life there. Ever.
And there’s no doubt about it, there is no peace or joy in standing tall to hold your ground and never let go. There is no way there. Ever.
It’s only in the surrendering and the bending and the receiving, again and again. That Christ is Lord in a life. And freedom and abundance are lived and found. In a life.
Because a life forced and manipulated cannot receive anything from the Lord.
Remember, it has been said, “…Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3:15)
As in the rebellion of your heart, when you doubted His ways, and you insisted on your own ways. Do not harden your heart. Now that you are saved, and you have received Christ, do not forge ahead. Do not manipulate and control. Do not hold your ground to defend your rights, or stand tall to encourage your pride. Do not harden your heart. Abundance does not work that way. Ever. It is a falling away from Christ when you justify with the law (Galatians 5:4). Every time.
But surrendering is allowing God in to every moment of every day of your life, and bending to receive is allowing freedom and abundance, all that Christ is, into your one life. Every time!
Because the very life Christ died to set free, to give abundant life to, is the very life willing to surrender and receive from Him. It’s where abundant life, His life, is found (John 10:10)!

Isaiah 66:1-2 NLT
“This is what the Lord says:
‘Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.
Could you build me a temple as good as that?
Could you build me such a resting place?
My hands have made both heaven and earth; they and everything in them are mine. I, the Lord, have spoken!
I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word.’”
