Stuck on the Good News

So you’re stuck on this Good News. That your Saviour died for you. That He rose again. That He is alive in you.

So you’re stuck there. And you can’t get over it. Because you took Him at His word. That every promise He made was made just for you. That every miracle He did was done just for you to know the Father. And every word He spoke was and is spoken just for you to receive the revelation of His Way, the Truth and the Life. Because Christ’s life is meant for you! And you know it when you’re stuck there, on the Good News. You know the Way.

Now you, remain there and stand firm, there. Because that’s the only place life is!

Being stuck on the Good News.

Stuck in awe. Stuck in amazement. Stuck in surrender and giving up on your ways. Stuck in rest and peace because of the Good News that saves.

Christ Jesus came for you to die the death you deserved. Christ Jesus came for you to rise again to give you life. Christ Jesus came for you to build the relationship with Him that you deep-down desire, even when you don’t know it. Yes, Christ Jesus came for you! It’s the Good News, and amen, you’re stuck on it!

And that’s where you must stay.

Where in weakness, you learn to trust the hand of God to lead. Where in letting go of control, you learn to run to the arms of Love to protect. Where in joy, pure joy, you learn to surrender to the Saviour to do the saving. Every single day. Every single moment of every single day.

It’s where life is found in abundance, from within all the chaos and despair of life.

And that’s the Good News!

It’s the beauty of being weak. The peace of letting go. The joy, pure joy, of fully trusting.

Being stuck on the Good News.

“…he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News...” - Colossians 1-22-23 NLT
