Surrender, Surrender, and Surrender Again

It’s true, a life only ever proclaims praises in surrender. Only ever, in surrender.

It’s the only way to praise God Almighty. The only way to proclaim glory to the King of kings and Lord of lords. Surrender is it.

You know, surrender. It’s how you stop fighting, give up arguing, and quit persuading. It’s why you let go, give in, and stop to wait. Because it’s when you speak without words, walk without guilt, and live without obligation. You know, surrender, surrender, and surrender again. And again. Surrender unto Him.

To the One Who holds the stars in place and knows your very name. To the One Who laid the foundation of the world and sees your every tear. To the One Who raises the nations each in His time and hears your every prayer. He sovereignly reigns. He purposefully plans. He majestically orchestrates. All things. All things. All things. Surrender to Him is how your praises to Him are raised.

It’s the way a life proclaims praises. Only ever in surrender.

So if surrender is it. If surrender is the only way to give praises to God, then it’s true, Jesus is the Way!

Jesus, “who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” - Philippians 2:6-8 ESV
