All I Know is Christ

All I know is Christ. Plain and simple. Real and glorious. Pure and right. Christ Jesus, my Lord.

For when all else fails, every driven goal and purposeful desire, still, there is Christ.

When all deeds fall short, every tedious chore and dutiful obligation, still, there is Christ.

When all means prove futile, every searching for acceptance and longing for value, still, there is Christ.

Christ Jesus, Who died and rose again, for you, to have you, because He loves you. Christ Jesus, Who calls you and intercedes for you, to hold you, to have you, because He loves you. Christ Jesus, Who reigns victorious, Ruler of all, Creator of all, Sovereign over all, to have you, to know you, He loves you!

And All I know is Christ. He loves me!  He loves you!

And that is enough. Because His love is enough!

For everything else, for every good deed and every just means that always fall short and never prove enough. For me. For you. For all else. Christ Jesus is enough!
