All Just Right

Is it that we have to get it all just right? To feel secure? To see success? To know peace and freedom? To be loved. Do we have to get it all just right?

You know, take the right path, do the right thing, be at the right location. Know the right answer, say the right word, be the right person. Does it all have to be just right for your one life to be good and right and abundant? Does it?

Because we try so hard to make it so. We all do. We try so hard to get it just right.

Until we realize again and again that we can’t. We can’t get our one life just right. We just can’t.

But it is good.

Because if it were so, if it were up to us to get it all just right, to learn right, to be and to do and to know right. If it were all up to us, and if somehow we were able to do so. Then Christ died in vain (Galatians 2:21).

It’s true.

But Christ’s death was not in vain (Romans 6:10). It’s true!! Christ’s death is what brings peace and joy and assurance. Christ’s death gives life and abundance. Because Christ’s death gives Christ’s life (Romans 6:8)!

Oh, it is good! Good that it is not up to us. Good that Christ died. Because it was for us, the unable ones that Christ, the able One, died. We needed Christ to die for us, and Christ wanted to die. He chose to die for us. Only He could rise victorious over death, for us, to make us right with Him again. And that’s what He did. Christ Jesus rose again, conquering death, paying the wages of sin. So that you could be made just right with Him, the Lord God Almighty!

Oh, you better believe it! It’s the goodness of God! There is a way to be just right, to do and to know right, to get it all just right. Christ Jesus is the way, the way to life abundant, the way to get it all just right! Because Christ is Righteousness, and His life, alive and well, in you, is a life that is just right.
