He Will Surely Do It!

Don’t you look to self to save. No, no, no. Don’t you do it.

Because to personalize the wrong, to take the blame and carry the guilt. To hold the responsibility to fix the evil all around. Is to choose death.

And you were never meant to carry that weight.

No. You can choose life instead.

Because to believe the truth, to personalize the Truth, to confess the blame and cast the guilt. To hold to the Cross as the answer for all the evil all around. Is to choose life intstead.

And you were meant to receive life!

That’s why Jesus came. So you could receive life. Because you can’t make life, you can’t give life, you can’t keep life. No. You can only receive life. Again and again! You can only receive life. It’s the only way life works.

You needed saving and He saved you! His work is finished. All that’s left for you to do now is to receive life from Him. It’s the Good News! Believe in the finished work of the Cross. Believe and trust in what Christ did for you. Believe and acknowledge your need, receiving His free gift of grace for you.

That’s all that’s left for you to do.

And once you believe, once you receive, it’s true, His life comes rushing in. Because you were ransomed by the blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:18-19), and made clean by the Word of God (John 15:3). Your sins that were crimson are now white as snow (Isaiah 1:18), and you are now the righteousness of God (2 Corinthains 5:21). Yes! God will surely do it, He will sanctify you to receive life, for He is faithful! (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)

All because of what Christ did for you! Now the only thing left for you to do is to look to Him to save and receive life from Him!  He will surely do it!
