Where You Know He Can

So you don’t even know what it is.

That God must do.
That must be done.
To see the battle won.

But you know it must be Him.
To act on your behalf.
To cover and shield you, surround and protect you.
To fight for you.
You know it must be God.

Your role then is simply to trust.

For that is faith.
That is surrender.
That is love.

To see Christ as Sufficient.
To know Christ as Saviour.
To have Christ as Defender.

So you don‘t even know what it is.
That needs doing to overcome.
That needs submitting and surrendering and giving over to to see victory in Christ.

So you don’t know.

But you do know you can trust the Faithful One.
For only He can overcome.
Only He has overcome.

And you know it.
That God can do it!
You simply know it.

So you come to Christ and you find your true place of rest in Him.

It’s where the battle is won.
It’s where you are blessed with Christ.
Where you know He can.
