The Answer From the Start

Oh, child of God, there IS an answer. There always has been an answer.

For the answer has been from the start. From the start of the problem, God has given an answer and made a solution (Genesis 3:15). From the start of the depths of death and despair that all of mankind experiences, from the start of the presence of sin in God’s creation, God has given the Answer. The Answer and the Way, Christ Jesus Himself.

It’s the Good News! Jesus is the Answer, from the start!

God created you in His own image (Genesis 1:27). In fact, “Long ago, even before He made the world, God loved you and chose you in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.” (Ephesians 1:4). You are His most precious possession, the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8), dearly loved, wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), perfectly thought of, rejoiced over with singing (Zephaniah 3:17), a child of God (John 1:12), heir to the King (Galatians 4:7), redeemed forever (Exodus 15:13).

And He loves you (1 John 3:1). God loves you!

It’s the Good News!

You were created for God (Ephesians 1:4-5). In fact, “In him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28), and though “we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children…” (Romans 8:23 NLT). He is your Abba Father (Romans 8:15), your Strong Tower (Psalm 61:3), your Counselor (Isaiah 9:6) and Comforter (2 Corinthians 1:3), the LORD God Almighty, your Master and Healer (Exodus 15:26), Redeemer and Saviour (Ephesians 1:7).

And you need Him (Job 33:4). You need God.

It’s the Good News!

That’s right. Only Jesus can deal with the problem of sin and make you right, by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8). And He has done it! From the start, Jesus has been the Answer to the problem.

For God so loved the world (John 3:16), God so loved you, that He made a way (John 14:6) for you to come to Him (Hebrews 10:19). Jesus came, for you (Luke 19:10). Jesus is the way! Jesus is the Answer!

He has fixed the problem! He has! Now you, come to Jesus. It’s the Good News! You know the Answer, and because of Him you can walk free from the problem. Every time.
