The Problem From the Start
Oh, child of God, you are NOT the problem. You never have been the problem.
For if you were the problem, and if you always have been the problem, then you would have been dealt with long ago. It’s true. Right from the start, God made a plan to deal with the problem (Genesis 3:15), and He did deal with the problem (Galatians 3:13, Romans 6:6). It is finished (John 19:30)!
You are His most special creation (Zechariah 2:8), the one whom He wants to be with forever, and sin was the problem that stood in the way of you and Him. So God dealt with the problem.
From the start, God made a plan to deal with the problem, and He did deal with the problem. God dealt with the problem. From the start, God dealt with the problem of sin.
That death entered God’s creation. That evil reigns here on this earth. That sin is present all around you, enticing you to obey its desires (Romans 6:12). Does not now make you the problem. No.
Seizing the opportunity, sin produced death in you (Romans 7:11). It’s been since the beginning of creation. It’s the problem of evil (Genesis 6:5) and death (Romans 6:23). “Sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned” (Romans 5:12). This is the problem.
And it is a problem you cannot fix, you cannot make right.
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
But it is a problem God has dealt with and God can make right!
For all “are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith...“ (Romans 3:24-25).
That’s right. Jesus can fix and make right. Only Jesus. He can deal with the problem of sin and make you right, by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8).
For God so loved the world (John 3:16), God so loved you, that He made a way (John 14:6), for you to come to Him (Hebrews 10:19). Jesus is the way! And He came, for you (Luke 19:10).
Jesus has fixed the problem! Now you, come to Him. It’s how to be free from the problem. Every time.
