A Little like Grace

It’s a little like grace, choosing not to hear all the wrong or see all the faults, but going forward in relationship, in dancing, and in loving.

It’s a little like grace, not dwelling on the past or questioning the future, but stepping out in trust, in Truth and in love.

Just a little like grace, that’s what it is. Every step of faith, every act of righteousness. This is Christ Jesus Himself, alive and well within you - grace given for you! For to receive grace is to know grace. And to know grace fully, in every part of your being, is to know Christ Jesus, alive and well within you.

Because it’s a little like grace, deciding not to put up your defenses or pick up your arms for the fight, but running to Christ instead in every moment of fear and doubt.

It’s just a little like grace, not making your home in this world or taking anything from this world, but learning to abide tightly to the Saviour of your soul, the Creator of this world, from Whom we have all received grace upon grace (John 1:16)!
