Without Explanation

What if it could be proclaimed without explaining how and why and when? What if it could be stated without fully knowing and understanding? What if the Truth of the Gospel could be deeply known and understood without a word of rationale spoken or studied?

Because it can.

That’s how the Spirit of God moves. Apart from human logic and reasoning. Far from man’s advancements or success. Above any and all achievements and knowledge attained. The Spirit of God is. He is life and light and wisdom and understanding to all who believe. He is all comfort and peace and love and joy to all who receive. He is because Christ Jesus went to the Father (John 16:5-7).

That’s right. The Son of God came to earth. He lived, He died and He rose again. He conquered death, He rose victorious, and He went back to the Father where He is seated at the Father’s right hand pouring out the Spirit (Acts 2:33).

So we can receive help from on High. So we can be drawn to Jesus and be in right relationship with God.

And the Gospel message happens in souls. Without explanation.

The death of the Son of God, Who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29), allows His children to proclaim the Gospel simply being in relationship with Him. By the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8), His children state loud and clear the Gospel message through every step of faith, in every surrendered moment, by every trusting act. It’s how a life deeply knows and understands the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the only Way to Life Everlasting, and the very Truth that sets free (John 8:36)! It is without explanation!

Without explanation, a life proclaims, “One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” (John 9:25). Without rationalizing, a life states, “Because I see, I believe that Jesus is who He says He is, and I have eternal life.” (John 9:35-38; 6:47). And without reasoning, a life knows, “Because the Son sets me free, I am free indeed.” (John 8:36).

Because it is all of the Spirit.

Every proclamation of Gospel evidence. Every deep knowing from within. Every statement of Gospel truth. It is all of the Spirit.

The Gospel is Spirit-revealed, Spirit-understood, Spirit-lived and -proclaimed and -stated and -taught. Always. Only the Spirit gives understanding. Only the Spirit reveals the Truth. Only the Spirit glorifies the Son. Only the Spirit.

Let the Spirit do what only He can do in and through you, to the glory of the Father! Amen and amen. He will do it, without explanation!
