In This Is Love!
Dear child of His,
Is it not true that He now dwells within you (Ephesians 3:17; James 4:5)? Is it not true that He washed away your sin and made you clean (Psalm 51:2; Hebrews 10:22)? Is it not true that He has made you holy and righteous and blameless before Him (Colossians 1:22)?
That’s the love of God for you. Do you know the love of God like that?
Because it’s true, you drifted away from, and fell short of, the glory of God (Romans 3:23). It’s true, your every intention has been evil from birth (Genesis 6:5). Yet it is true, while you were still in all that sin, He came for you, to die for you and take the punishment of your sin, all for you (Romans 5:8; 1 John 4:10).
That’s the love of God for you. Do you know the unconditional love of God like that?
That you are justified completely before Him, solely because of His grace given to you (Romans 3:24). And all that is required from you is faith (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 3:25). That your walking by faith, clinging to the truth and not knowing how or when but knowing Who, that He made you right and saved you by His life, is how to truly live (Romans 5:10; Galatians 2:20).
Do you know the Love of God like that? Do you know Christ Jesus like that?
Because many who use Jesus’ name don’t know Him (Matthew 7:22-23). For only the child-like can enter His Kingdom (Matthew 18:3). Yes, it pleases God to reveal His truth to children and the child-like, and to keep the truth hidden from the wise and the strong (Luke 10:21; 1 Corinthians 1:27).
Do you know Jesus Christ, the Love of God, like that? Do you know how to come to Him as you are, weak and poor, with nothing to offer?
That’s when knowing Jesus is eternal life (John 17:3), pure and simple! Where He is your Salvation and your Song, the very One Who keeps you safe (Isaiah 12:2; Psalm 121). Because He loved you first (1 John 4:19). And you are His!
Do you know the love of God like that, the Love that came for you?
Because the love that changes you for all of eternity is only where the Love of God is. For always and forever!!
Amen.

“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” - 1 John 4:9-10 ESV
“I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” - Jesus (John 17:26 ESV)
