That’s All - Isaiah’s Message of Salvation

You need saving. That’s all.

And that’s okay, because the good news is there’s One Who came to save.

So when you’ve come to that place of utter despair in yourself and your circumstances because of the never-ending trials and failures that leave you defeated again and again, remember there’s One Who came to save. He came to save you.

And when you rebel from the One Who came to save, when your every emotion of frustration and anger takes over you, and you hurt yourself and the ones you love, remember there’s One Who came to save. He came to save you.

Turn back to the One Who came to save you.

Because when the despair in this life and the shame and the guilt and the depression won’t leave you alone, you must remember that you need saving. And it’s okay. You simply need saving. That’s all. God is calling you back for the purpose of your salvation. That’s all.

For the One Who came to save, He is the One “…who blots out your sins for [His] own sake and… never [thinks] of them again” (Isaiah 43:25).

Yes, the One Who came to save, He “…will guide you continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy too” (Isaiah 58:11).

Remember Him. Come back to Him.

The One Who came to save, He came to save you.

“He will be gentle - he will not shout or raise his voice in public. He will not crush those who are weak or quench the smallest hope…” (Isaiah 42:2-3). He will come to save. That’s what He does. It’s the Good News!

Christ Jesus, the Saviour of your soul came to save you. From your every desperate search for more and the deep longing of your heart, God is calling you back to Him, the Provider and Sustainer of your life. Within every trial and deep, deep shame of life, God is calling you back to Him, the Way and the Truth and the Life. Because you need saving. That’s all.

“Fear not; you will no longer live in shame… For the LORD has called you back from your grief… ‘with great compassion, I will take you back… with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,’ says the LORD, your Redeemer” (Isaiah 54:4–8).

He sent His Son to save you. Hear Him calling you. See Him saving you. And with eyes to see and ears to hear, may you proclaim with all of God’s people, “This is our God. We trusted in Him, and he saved us. This is our LORD, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!” (Isaiah 25:9).

Amen and amen! Praise the name of the LORD!

“For since the world began, no ear has heard, and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!” (Isaiah 64:4 NLT 1996).

Jesus came to save you, and you needed saving! Don’t walk away from the One Who came to save. Because He came to save you!

“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: ‘To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.’” (Isaiah 45:22-23 ESV).
